The two Halloween community events were attended by hundreds of local residents. Each group had the opportunity to enjoy having their picture taken at our photo booth while dressed in their Halloween costumes. This Halloween community event is truly a tradition in Santa Ana and the support is incredible to witness. We were proud to provide our services that night.
FoCon Events reached out to the venue a few months ago to discuss opportunities with their venue. Located so close to the venue, it would be an amazing opportunity to work with them on a regular basis. The venue coordinator mentioned that they had some great events coming up for the Halloween season. The first of two events was a sugar skull decorating event in honor of Dia de los Muertos. The second event was to be a trick-or-treating activity called “Ghosts of Old OC”. The moment we heard of these opportunities, we jumped at the chance to provide our services.
All of Santa Ana was invited to participate in a sugar skull decorating workshop. The event, held earlier in the day, was in honor of Dia de los Muertos. Later that night the venue provided a guided tour of the grounds as part of their trick-or-treating activity named “Ghosts of Old OC”. All the guests had a chance to visit different areas of the venue and learn about Santa Ana’s past. At each stop the guests received a stamp on their map, that when completed, would get them their bag of Halloween candy.
We provided our GIF Booth for the Halloween community event held at the Heritage Museum. The photo booth setup included a template for each event. The guests could choose which template they wanted to use. They could also add digital props which included special Halloween props, and even add a filter to their images. In addition to just images, the guests could also choose to have a boomerang or animated GIF taken. The guests received their images via a customized email. The venue provided their own backdrop to complete the experience and the images came out amazing!
We hope to continue this tradition in support of our community. Located in Santa Ana, we feel it is our responsibility to help beautify our community. We would also like to thank the Santa Ana Police Department for volunteering to protect our equipment and guide the guests through our interactive experience.
